Adrian completed undergraduate training in Belfast in 1990, and his FDS in 1995.

After many years as an SHO across the South of England, Adrian was appointed Staff Grade at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Buckinghamshire in 1997, and has remained there ever since, now working as an Associate Specialist.

Adrian was Clinical Director of the unit for 9 years; overseeing the development of their speciality training programme in Oral Surgery. The further development of SAS grades within Oral Surgery is essential, both for personal development and the development of the speciality.

Clinically, Adrian’s fields of interest are dento-alveolar surgery in relation to orthodontics, and the management of the medically compromised patient.
