Kadasamy Ganesan
I qualified in 1995 from Madras Dental College, Chennai, India in 1995 and underwent higher speciality training in OMFS in the same institute to obtain MDS in 1999. My passion in OMFS driven me to UK in 1999 to start my senior house officer job at Leeds General Infirmary before becoming a staff grade in 2005 and an Associate Specialist in OMFS in 2008.
I have been a Consultant Oral Surgeon since 2011 at Southend Hospital which is a part of Mid and South Essex NHS foundation Trust. I am also an honorary senior lecturer at University of Leeds. Vast amount of clinical job relates to neonates to adolescent Oral Surgery. My sub specialist interests are neonatal tongue tie, role of CBCT in surgical planning of deeply impacted teeth and management of cysts of the jaws.
All my recent publications, chapters in textbooks are related to my current work spectrum. My primary interest is in promoting clinical training and improving outcomes in Oral Surgery through innovation. My passion to drive innovation in Oral Surgery carries on with yearly symposium conducted at Southend or Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Glasgow.
