We are aware that a number of our members are not receiving our email communications. This means you are potentially missing out on webinars, on-line learning opportunities and updates regarding BAOS and Oral Surgery. To rectify this, there are a number of solutions, depending on your email provider.
1. Check your inbox to see if you are receiving emails from baos@rcsed.ac.uk
2. If you can’t see any emails from us, please search in your junk/spam folder
3. If you find the emails are being redirected to spam, please ensure baos@rcsed.ac.uk is in your contact list/safe sender list
4. In addition, for GMAIL addresses –
i. Log into GMAIL on a computer (webpage)
ii. Click the GEAR icon at the top right and then click SETTINGS
iii. Go to FILTERS AND BLOCKED ADDRESSES and click CREAT A NEW FILTER
iv. In the FROM section, type baos@rcsed.ac.uk and click CREATE A NEW FILTER
v. Click CREATE FILTER
5. For OUTLOOK addresses –
i. Click on Junk tool button in the toolbar near the top left of the Outlook window
ii. Click to select Junk e-mail options
iii. Click the topmost option, labelled No Automatic Filtering
iv. Click OK
6. For Yahoo addresses –
i. Log into Yahoo account and click on the “spam” folder
ii. Click the email that has been wrongly labelled as junk to open it
iii. Click on the “NOT SPAM” button in the toolbox to immediately send it to the Inbox folder
This process will only take a few minutes and will ensure you see all the latest communication from us!
